At the age of 16 he left for Milan where he developed a taste for beauty and elegance in Germana Marucelli’s atelier that happened to be a place frequented by all sorts of artistically stimulating people and intellectuals. Germana was the first Italian fashion designer and played an important role in Mario Luca sensitivity to beauty and elegance. When he later returned to Florence, he founded a publishing company focused on printing art books mainly on oriental studies and theater books. He later successfully carried on the family footwear business founded in 1865.

In 2007 the turning point with the birth of the homonymous Maison, Mario Luca Giusti, which conquers the Italian market first and then extends to the rest of the world, The objects have the appearance of crystal and glass but are made with very contemporary materials such as acrylic, similarly the plates imitate ceramic but are instead made of melamine they are designed to be practical and elegant, with classic shapes contrasted by eclectic colors.

This pieces that are a mixture between baroque and pop art, they are very versatile and are a perfect match for both interiors or exteriors; by the pool or for decorating the deck of a boat. Their practicality makes elegance accessible, less austere and therefore allows classic objects and shapes to become more frivolous and fun.
